Outstanding as always. Kevin investigated the symptoms that I explained. Since the steering fluid level took over a year to go down to ‘add’, he was unable to detect leakage nor any other reason for the loss of fluid. He offered to extend the time of the warranty for the pump and steering rack that he replaced 3 years ago. He did find that that brake discs that he replaced 10 years ago are slightly warped. He explained that since they are after market parts and that I drive mostly mostly local roads it causes excessive heat resulting in disc warpage. However, the discs are still serviceable and so I should evaluate their stoping ability and have them examined as it becomes insufficient. He could not hear the slight humming noise. It does not affect the performance of the engine and it may be due to the fact that the car is 23 years old. Although Kevin used his time and expertise to evaluate the symptoms of my car, he charged nothing for it. This is in contrast to what what most every other repair shop would have done. This further adds to my confidence in Precision Auto and reconfirmed my recommendation of it when anyone asks me to suggest a repair facility. Due to the fact that I live in Livermore, I used Big-0 a couple of times. Due to. it’s faulty brake repair, I learned my lesson to allow only Kevin to repair my and my wife’s cars. Thank you Kevin and Precision Auto.
Thank you, John. We appreciate your business and trust.
