My 2005 Toyota Tacoma has been trouble-free ever since I bought it. However, the check engine light came on recently and a car parts store diagnosed it as a code P0333 (Knock sensor #2). After researching on the Internet, I concluded that it was far too complex a repair to attempt myself (very complex to get access to the knock sensors on the Tacoma). As suggested on the Internet postings, it turned out that the Knock sensor wiring harness had been chewed by rodents. Precision Auto Repair replaced the sensors and harness, and they ended up charging me about $500 less than their initial estimate. Being charged less than the estimate for an auto repair was a new and very pleasant experience for me. Ken was great to work with and gave me a great comfort level with the family-owned operation at Precision Auto Repair. He also provided me with the old and obviously chewed wiring harness and all the documentation I will need to submit this as a comprehensive auto claim to my auto insurance company. I have also suggested to my son that he bring his truck down here from Santa Rosa to have it serviced by Precision Auto Repair since he's had a couple of poor experiences recently. Thanks to Tyler, Ken and Kevin for the great service you provided!!
