This was a first visit to Precision Auto Repair. Like many others have stated in their reviews, I was looking for an alternative to Honda dealership high prices and low quality. I believe Precision Auto Repair could be the place to service my Honda and Lexus going forward. The people are friendly and attentive and the price paid is definitely much more reasonable than what I've paid at the dealer for exactly the same service. The only issue -- not even really an issue, more of a nit -- was that I specifically asked about a service inspection report -- that sheet of paper with the green, yellow, and red indicators for things like brake wear, tire tread, etc. I was told that I would receive one and that all those things would be checked for the service I was requesting.Turns out I didn't receive one of those inspection result sheets so I called and spoke to Kevin. He told me I could come get one but that the results of the service were all printed on the completed service sheet. I asked about the brakes and he told me that the brakes inspection isn't done for an oil change. But I was there for the routine service inspection that you'd receive at a dealership and had asked about it when I dropped the car off. I was told all that would be done.Frustrating to leave the car for the day and not get the full service you took it in for. But I'll take partial responsibility -- perhaps I was not as clear as I could've been. I will be very clear next time. That's my only negative from the experience. I'd still recommend them and will still return. Just be sure to be very clear regarding the work you're having done.
Edward, we appreciate you taking the time to write us a review. I am sorry that there was a miscommunication and we try to clearly understand the customer's expectations. I am sure that we will do better on your next visit.
