I've been going to Precision for at least 15 years now. Their original focus was on Honda vehicles where they had a serious following from folks who wanted Honda dealer service without the dealership prices. If you look at many of older Honda's in the tri-valley area you will see many of them have a Precision auto license plate frame which was something that Precision gave to customers when they had their cars serviced. They have appeared to discontinued the frame replacements/giveaways but they still provide quality service. They have expanded into servicing Lexus and Toyota's since my early visits. I still go to Precision because: * They're honest and cordial. * They recommend repairs but don't push them on you. * They provide service in the timeframe they say they will. * They provide a loaner car if you need one (note that you're actually renting the car for a nominal fee and the cars are older Honda vehicles. If you want a current year Lexus to cruise in then you'll have spend dealer prices for the privilege). * They can drop you off at home or the mall if you don't want to wait. * They have a cozy waiting room with DirecTv on the flatscreen, Mac mini computers with large LCD screens to utilize while you wait and free wifi for your laptop, mobile phone or tablet. * They regularly provide coupons for 10% off of labor (it's for labor only but anything off is a good thing). * They use factory parts. * They aim for customer satisfaction (if you have issues with their service they will address). I have found that they cannot match prices on tires when compared to Costco or Discount Tires which they will acknowledge. However, they will install tires purchased from online retailers such as tirerack.com. While not the cheapest shop around they are the best balance between outrageous dealer service prices and other less reputable repair shops. Highly recommended!
